When I read your Mortgage Rescue Scheme leaflet, I knew it was exactly what I wanted.
Selling the house might have been an option but it could be months on the market and would mean renting either privately or from the council. Neither of us wanted to move, we love our house and garden, and the prospect was filling us with dread. In addition, we had a small army of creditors to deal with and realised that by the time we sold on the open market a series of charges would have been placed on the property as well. Our financial situation was spiralling out of control and we were trapped. We were anxious, depressed and thoroughly worn down with worry.

After a survey, a price was agreed that would clear our mortgages and pay the charge on the property. A rent was set that left us some money to live on every month. We decided to go ahead. We could stay in our home. The relief was amazing.
